5 Step Process
1. Initial contact is made followed by an exchange of information and material. A conference call may be scheduled to explore further to confirm sufficient interest to execute a bilateral NDA.
2. A bilateral non-disclosure is required to protect both parties, including trade secrets, business processes, R&D pipeline and in some cases customers and partners who prefer not to be disclosed otherwise.
3. Individuals are selected by both companies to lead exploratory engagement and exchange of information to prepare deeply tailored use cases.
4. The Kyield team prepares and presents a confidential proposal for the client, which includes highly specific use cases and a carefully planned multi-phase pilot process.
5. The proposal is discussed in conference calls and/or in person. Once approved by senior officers in both companies and legal teams prepare the contract with terms reflecting mutual agreement.
The agreement typically covers responsibilities of all parties, identifies contractors, pricing, service, milestones, contingencies and expansion plans. The installation process then follows the terms of the engagement agreement. Kyield offers a flexible approach ranging from license of the system with consulting support to full installation.
