KYield Founder and CEO Mark Montgomery


Mark Montgomery is the founder and CEO of KYield, Inc., and inventor of the patented KOS, and the synthetic genius machine (SGM). Formerly Mark was an entrepreneur, consultant, and VC. He began in software development in 1996, then progressed to analytics, search, and AI. Mark built and operated a datacenter, knowledge systems (KS) lab, and multiple leading networks in the 1990s. He has worked with many leading scholars and universities, including as invited panelist in national tech transfer conferences, Stanford venture conferences, ASU entrepreneur association, IEEE Rising Stars, and many others. In 2004 he Thunderbird School of Global Management where he attended a 12 week international MBA program, received certification as a global business leader and served as business plan judge for multiple years.

Dr. Robert E. Neilson is a member of the Kyield board of directors. Robert Neilson was the Knowledge Management Advisor to the Army's Chief Knowledge Officer and Chief Information Officer. Formerly, he was the Chief Knowledge Officer (CKO), department chair and a professor at the Information Resources Management College (now iCollege), National Defense University. He has taught and lectured both in the U.S. and internationally including the Argentine War College, NATO Defense College, Italian Institute for Defense Studies, and in Asia and Australia. 


Robert has been a consultant with Computer Associates, DigitalNet, BAE, Brookings Institute, World Bank and federal agencies and has been a featured speaker at CIO and KM conferences domestically and internationally. He was named to the Federal 100 in 2010.  His futuristic scenarios have been featured in “The Futurist".


 


Robert (Bob) Hegbloom is a member of the KYield Board of Directors. Formerly, he was CEO of the Ram Truck brand for Chrysler. Bob starting near the bottom of Chrysler and worked his way up to global CEO of one of their major brands. Ram Trucks became one of the best performing brands in the auto industry under Bob’s leadership. 


Bob is a graduate of Ferris’ College of Engineering Technology with a BASc in Automotive Management, and MA in International Management from Central Michigan University. In May 2016, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Business and Industry from Ferris.


 


Skyler Nix helps KYield with project management, and is an investor and advocate for KYield. He grew up in Albuquerque, NM, and joined the U.S. Army as a 33W Military Intelligence Systems Integrator after high school. During his active duty years he served in 102nd MI Battalion in Cp. Essayons, Korea and 742nd MI Battalion in Ft. Meade, MD. Since leaving the military in 2007 he has worked for federal contractors in technical and engineering roles. 


Skyler graduated from the University of Arizona with a BASc in Network Administration and Embry Riddle with a MS in Project Management. Skyler is an active volunteer at IEEE and currently works as a systems engineer for PGTEK supporting Sandia National Labs.
